Orcullo vs. Frost- Live Reports

They're very good, and the guy doing most of the shot commentary reminds me of Mike Sigel (he doesn't sound like Sigel, but he talks like him).

Similar accent and cadence. Chris from Chicago and Mike from the Buffalo/Rochester area. An oddity, but similar accents. It's an American linguistics study (I took a couple classes at UMass). American Great Lakes-Influenced accent.

Chris is really good. I'm adding him to my list of guys who make streams better. Rare at this point in our evolution.

Chicago guys talk well. Tom Karabotsos calls straight pool better than average.

17-14 Dennis.

Scott just making to many mistakes, and Dennis chewing up these 4 1/4 " pockets. And the new cloth is making the pockets not so tough for Dennis.

I understand Scott's frustration when he gets a bad roll, but I think showing it openly like he does is a weakness in his game. It can only help your opponent when you are visibly frustrated.

Dennis banking straight backs on these 4 1/4 pockets like he's shooting on a bar box.

Stretching it.

He also creates more bad rolls for himself I think. Sometimes he gets in such bad head space I almost think he's looking for a bad roll as an escape mechanism or something.

Did frost just luck a ball in to win that last game? Missed that. He shot a kiss shot I think...?

When? Early in his run? Not by luck. He stared down the carom.

Scott stops the bleeding

15-18 Dennis

Scott can't get out of his own way, as he hits yet another slight cut too thick when he's supposed to run a whole bunch of balls.

Dennis has no such issue as he hits the balls so damned cleanly. And continuing his banking assault from the end rail, straight back.

We have a man on the nightly hill.

19-15 Dennis

My god how was that for an out. Seriously moving doesn't even matter if Dennis continues stuff like that. Wow.

Great final game of the night ....

Dennis with a good break.

Scott answers with a power one pocket return, moving most balls to his side, doubling up Dennis on the head rail. World class return.

Dennis makes the doubled up combo and runs 8-out (6 and concession from Scott with Dennis straight in and open ball)....

This game is that easy...

20-15 Dennis
