Here a bump for one of the best tips on the Market IMHO. I play with the hard Molavia it is by far the best tips among the other layered (Moori, Sniper and Kamui). The hard molavia is a lot like the MH of the original Moori...was definitely one of the best tip back then.

Duc.

Tips

I would have to agree with you, these tips do play great. They are very consistent and you are offering them at a good price.

wait, what's the difference between the moori medium and this tip? i wanted to try this tip but i havent heard any feed backs...

too many to try

I would very much like to try these tips but I would only consider buying ten after I tried a couple. I currently have on my cues, Moori med, Talisman WB med, Talisman PRO hard, and Triangle thats been pressed in a vise. I like the TalismanPRO hard the best. I wish I could find a tip that truely played like the old Moori MH. I'm sure a lot of players feel the same. Would you or anyone who buys ten consider selling a couple to try? PM me.

Thanks
Larry

Duc recently sent me some of the new soft versions...an absolutely awesome tip. If someone likes a maintenance free soft hitting tip...this is the hot ticket. I like these even better than the Kamui.;)

Hey Duc, I finally decided to pay you too!;) :D

Hi all,
I've used the molavia hard for 3 yrs. I used morri b4 that these tip play as well are better to me .cuemaster is a great person to deal with also. later jeff

I would agree with the statement about Hard Molavia compared to Med Hard Moori first generation. This is about as accurate of a comparison as can be made.

Question Duc? What is the comparison with the new Molavia's to the first generation Molavia's? Better construction? Since I never really had a delaminating problem with the first generation why the second generation? The only real problem I had was with the blackening of the tip requiring more scuffing. Ofcourse Moori's do this blackening too. Did the second generation fix this minor problem?

Sorry for the late reply Snap,

The new Molavia tip layers are treated with a special formulated adhesive that protect each layer of the pigskin and keep it fresher longer so that it doesn't dry out over the years of storage and use. The coloration of the tips is probably the main difference between the original and the New Molavia.

The secret to the consistency of the hit for each tip is trying to maintain the moisture content in the tips so that the hit doesn't change. I believe the original Kamui tips used to be the best for this as it last about 1 year and now the Molavia Tips has this similar property and may last longer due to the treated layers. It's alway good to remember to burnish the tips as I'm told it keep the hit of the tips more consistent and helps maintain the tips from mushrooming. I have already received a lot of orders from fellow AZers and hope they enjoy the Molavia as much as I do.

Regards,

Thanks guy for all your orders, if havn't try Molavia yet...you got to!!!! It may be the only tips that you will ever play with....I'm hooked as well as many other.

Thanks.

Too many tips!!

Moori, Moori III, Molavia, Kamui, Hercules, Talisman, Sniper, Karomi, Everest, Sumo, Triumph, LePro, Chadivert, etc.

I currently have most of these tips. My current shooting tip is a Triumph. Been using these since 1983. I have tried the layered tips and have yet to see any appreciable difference. If the tip is in good condition and you have half a stroke, you can put the cue ball where you want most of the time. What are most of the pro players using? Is there really that much difference?

Thank you for any incite you can provide.

I think most of the pros are using laminated tips...I put on a Molavia tip for Jose Parica (my sneeky pete custom made cue) and he love it.

2Cool2, give the new Molavia a try...I think you may like it!
