I have 2 original Joss cues with block letters for sale. Both are in all original condition.

The first cue id a very unique Maple on Maple with 7 veneers! I do not ever recall seeing an original Joss with 7 veneers. This cue is dead straight and is in pristine condition for it's age. comes with 1 shaft. Price is $1,350 shipped.

The second cue is a window cue with for points in BEM. I am not sure what the wood is in the points and butt sleeve, maybe some here can help with that. Cue is in very good condition and has never been refinished. Cue come with 2 shafts, each have a very minor wobble, butt is dead straight. Price is $1,450.00 shipped.

If you are interested in either, or both of these cues, send me a PM and I can provide more details.

Looks like it may be Olivewood or Tamarind points in the second one.

Just a guess on my part.

Was made 1968-1972 Yep the GOOD ONES! Ron

Both cues are from the Joss Diamond series. The one on the left is model #3B and the one on the right is a model #5B. If the shafts are original, they have ivory ferrules. These cues were produced in the early 80's! Good luck with sale!

I didn't think Block letter Joss Cues were produced in the '80's, nor were part of model production. Please elaborate...

Thanks!

block letter joss

both cues are from the 1968-1972 time period. even if you have never owned one, the Blue Book of Pool Cues illustrates the differences of the early models. these early model Joss cues do hit very sweet. GL on your sale

Ebony can have pale streaks in it; even Gaboon. That would be my guess for the points in the cue on the right and it would match the sleeve material.

Scott <<== just guessing

Yes I agree. I have one similar to this. Each point has different streaks, from light to dark. Macassar Ebony points?. I like the cue a lot. The JOSS on that one appears to be after 72 (upright). The JOSS on the left appears to be prior to 72. Although the subtle difference in JOSS logo is hard to see in pics.
Nice cues

The model 3B has a black ring above the buttcap in the photo from Joss. The one on Jamie's cue doesn't.

The model 5B has different ringwork at the joint than Jamie's cue has. Jamie's has the typical "JossWest" blocks rather than the dash rings.

Thanks for all the input on these cues. Lots of interest too... someone pull the trigger!

I received a PM from one of the previous owners of the 7 veneer Maple on Maple cue. The cue is a 1 of 1 made by Dan Janes. The cue has been refinished. Just wanted everyone to have as much info as possible on the cue.

Thanks!

Bump... I still have these to Joss cues available... feel free to PM or email me with offers.
