About 40 years ago I acquired an original "How to Attach Brunswick Billiard Cloth manual - 51-902823.

There is even an addendum with estimated installation times for various Brunswick models. Plus a cushion rebound procedure section.

There is also a copy of the Brunswick slate guarantee: "Lifetime to the original owner". Also a parts list for a bunch of different Brunswick products.

If there is enough interest I could scan and make this material available.

Here is the cover page. More to follow.

The rails they're showing how to recover are GC1 rails. I've never installed cloth on the slates the way it's shown here;)

I would love to see this material. As not just a table mech but to see how things might have changed

Cushion Rebound Procedure and Bed Flatness Procedure

I also had a custom made oak box with an aluminum incline and a specially balanced cue ball to use with the above. A nicely done item with the interior covered in some kind of fabric as I recall. After 35 years or so I gave it to a local Brunswick dealer. Hope he got some use out of it.

Install Times.

Tool List.

I wonder what are inclined ramp dimensions (length and height). I see 10' mentioned, but those 6 1/2 degrees... Why not just give H and L, and never think about degrees? :o

I doubt if any mechanic nowadays uses such a ramp though. Glen?

Having been a pool player for the majority of my childhood and adult life, I don't need a ramp meter to tell me what the cushion play like, or the speed of the cloth...I know what's right and wrong when I get on a pool table;)

I just got an old brunswick 9ft pool table and I sure would like a copy

of those '' How to '' instructions. I will be putting up some pic hoping

someone can tell me how old my table is. You can reach me at

my cell 210 687 five four nine seven.

Thanks,
Dave
