....so I guess everyone else is wrong, right? A simple search of the W/FS section would have told you their value, and the one's that the asking price was too high, languished. Perhaps you are too emotionally invested in the cue to part with it. It happens. A little research would go a long way in selling it, at a reasonable price, but insulting the long time resident authorities on Helmstetter/Adam cues is certainly not the way to go. No one is trying to steal it from you, they are being brutally honest as to the cue's true value. There has been much discussion over the fact that many feel that these cues should be worth more...but sadly, it is what it is.

Looks like the two of you together have about $5 iff I was to guess on the high side. I know you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover but, umm ya look at that picture. Pretty much somes it all up.

Anyways I have an item I would like to purchase. Price dropp to $500 for a great stick.

What you and the others can not comprehend is the fact that this is not a helmstetter per say. Yes the but end is a helmstetter but the shaft was made by Tim Scrugs. No sentimental feelings here just factuall information. Furthermore, Tim reconditioned the whole but end when he was making the shaft. Tim's workmanship is impeccable and sadly you can not get him making sticks anymore for you now can you? This stick will never sell for for $250 or $300 like others normal helmstetters. It's just to rare of a piece and worth much more. People need to stop thinking simple as this stick is so much more than people are giving it credit fore.
