SOLD. Hello. I have for sale an Original Palmer Model L from the second catalog with three shafts and a Palmer Deluxe 1X2 box case. The case is black with purple/burgandy interior. It is in good condition and latches work, but I havve no key. I am not sure of the wood on this cue, maybe you can tell from the photos. This cue is in need of a refinish, as most of the finish is gone. I didn't notice any issues with the pearlescent oth than the butt cap. I believe the butt cap is the pearlescent ( 1 3/8" long with the 5/8" hole) and has what I can see and think are three cracks in it. The previous owner coveer the cap with something and added the art design and adhesive gold ring and then covered it with a finish. I believe all parts are original except for one shaft. The wrap feels like it is nylon. It is thin and I believe white with green spec. The butt is 28 5/8" long from top of joint to bottom of cap. Weighs 16.1oz. and has a has a very slight bow which case the joint to lift off the table about .6mm which is 7 sheets of paper. shaft #1 is 27 1/8" long, 3.45oz, 12.4mm tip, 3/4" ferrule has the numbers 28-2 on the joint pilot and has a avery slight taper roll and is the straightest one of the three. Shaft #2 is 27 15/16" long, 3.6oz., 12.5mm at tip, 3/4" ferrule, has the numbers 28-2 on the joint pilot and has a little more taper roll than the first one. Shaft #3 is 28 1/4" long, 3.35oz, 12.75mm at tip and has a 1" screw on ferrule with the metal pin and no numbers on joint and I would say this shaft has a very slight bow to it. I have taken all these aspects into consideration for determining the price. I think this cue would look great with a refinish or just shoot with it the way it as i have done. My price for everything is $550 shipped. I think this price will allow someone who is interested in it, to get it refinished and still come out O.K. on the deal. Pictures will follow in the next post. If I left something out, just ask.
