IPT= bust
NACCPHOHOIB = never happened
Raya tour = not paying people
Alan Hopkins Tournament = ????????
BCA TOUR = 200,000 dollars added for all events?????:eek: What will first place look like.:confused:
TAR = brightest thing out there in my opinion, but how long can they last???:confused:

Hope I'm not beating the proverbial dead horse but are there any updates or anything new that would add a ray of hope??

As far as state wide tours:

Arizona Desert Classic Tour is alive and well!

Any kind of Tournament or Tour needs support to be a success. Sponsors & a large gallery of people.

If the players were the only support provided to the PGA Tour, there would be no tour. The sponsors get involved because there are people involved.

At most Pool Tournaments, the gallery is admitted free. The larger Tournaments have a general admission, but that helps pay for the rental of the building, not for providing funds to the purse.

On the last day of a Tournament here, there are very few in the gallery. I do hope that something positive happens, some of our local hereoes have gone to the Casinos or quit playing.

Tours

I gotta comment.

First of all, The new event is not the BCA Tour. It is NOT affiliated with the BCA.

It will be called the "________________" (cannot tell you yet.)

A new league will be started that will help fund these events. The only way pool can survive is to internally funded. This concept will do that.

With any kind of luck - if 3-5 years, this will turn into a $500,000 ADDED series of events. But I will need everyone's help.

The prize breakdown wil probably be in the top 25% range - but that will be decided by player input after we get better organized.

More info is coming. I just wanted to let everyone know it is NOT the BCA Tour. I own the BCAPL (BCA Pool League) but that is not the entity that is going to make this work.

More info coming during the next month or so. Hoping to announce a couple of dates and venues but don't have anything firm yet.
