I was curious whatever became of the Solids
Have 200 of them sitting in process waiting on stabilization... US Open, Make It Happen, Turkey Day, Now year end prep for clients and CPAs... Doind good to get the existing orders out... Will be adding the Medium Soft next and will try and find time to make the stabilizer for the SOLID in front of a Super Soft... Have the chemicals just short on time getting the chalk pushed out....

We have the SOLID which is a leather hybrid similar to the Samsara or Odega... It's single layered and for a leather hybrid it pounds the ball...
2 things kept us from doing anything with it...
1) The SOLID requires to be beaten in with a cpl of good break sessions to compact it.. It is slightly malleable and doesn't get great until after it's been pounded on.. For most players needing to set the tip and it sometimes needing to be retrimmed is a problem if their repair guy isn't in the pool room or close by.....
2) The Hammerhead came out of the same 2 weeks when I was snowed in and had nothing better to do than finish the SOLID formulation and continue testing material samples...
The Hammerhead is the superior of the 2.. It is superior to any break tip on the market in my opinion.. We continue to offer a money back guarantee on them...
What I need todo is revisit the SOLID drawing... We shipped chalk out today on a Great White free drawing from awhile back and sent Blue since that is what we need reviews on right now as the white has been rolling along...
I might figure something else out to send to the winners to review but I will have to think about what would fit best...
Not on here as much anymore so thanks for the reminder.... Out of sight out of mind really does happen....

Sounds good Chris. If it goes too long I'll probably eventually buy one lol. I have three shafts I'm putting ki-techs on and have other people interested. Thought trying the break tip would be nice. I'm a leather break tip kind of guy though.

Tim it likely won't hurt to go ahead and send them out.. For awhile I toyed with taking them out of the store and mentioned it to several installers who have purchased them n quantity... Apparently the feedback on them was outstanding even with them needing to be set in thru a few sessions.. With that in mind I will try and gather the addresses this weekend....
Definitely POUND these in. They break well once you've "set them in".
Thanks Chris that would be great! I'm in need of a break tip soon. I can see my Samsara is starting to have another layer delaminate and I'm getting tired of it. This will be the third layer now on same tip that will delaminate and then ill have a crater in the middle.

Blew the last layer off my samsara last night. Let me know if you can send that ASAP Chris I'd like to try the solid. I can pay if you don't want to send a sample. Just let me know because I'm gonna need a tip since I'm basically down to the carbon fiber pad on my Ob breaker.
