i am getting emails to notify me before they go live. They seems to come about and hour or so before they so that match.

i talked to luc for about an hour on when he learned to play banks. he told me that about 2 months before the tournament he started practicing with nick varner. he said nick helped him for about 3 weeks straight just so he could come to the derby and play in the banks. not to bad for a first timer.

Help...does anyone know how to get in touch with BCn. When I finally did get the banks (I had a rerun of the ring game on for an hour) - reception stream was horrible.

Moving
His mom, Kathy, told me months ago he was moving after he came back
from Vegas to get ready for the IPT tour. In fact, I believe I mentioned
in earlier replies in earlier threads. I wish they would just say he is from
Wichita, Ks. (grew up here) no matter where he is living at the time.
It irritates alot of Pool people here when they say he is from somewhere
else.

I agree with you Scott! But I think because he has other partly business 'pool' ties to where he moves is a reason he just says those towns. He had a couple other reasons/offers to move to Florida, it just so happened the IPT was being held there, which worked out alongside it. But I think he should just say the original town he's from - WICHITA!! IMHO (I just hope he's close to the beach, for when we go visit!)
Gabesmom--I saw your boy, 'Big Country' Gabe at the DCC and the first thing he told me was that he bought a house in Jacksonville. All I could think was a pool player owning anything is an oxymoron. I'm glad to see that he is now a house pro @ a room there in Jacksonville and he seems more business like as he was walking around with a clipboard trying to sign players up for the IPT qualifier. Hopefully, before the week is out, Gabe will get back to his roots and get into some kind of action. It is always nice to bet on a player with a lot of heart. I'm looking forward to seeing Gabe at the table to get the cheese.gabesmom said:
