The mini quick change tool posts are a joke compared to the AXA or OXA.
The AXA is a beast of a tool. Don't mess with a piston type tool post. With the AXA wedge type I can mount the tool lower than its own footprint so there is no way the tool post to be to big for any lathe, if the center bolt is to big all you'll have to do is quick make a adapter for mounting to a small T-slot of the compound.
I choose the BOSTAR over the SHARS and I'm pleased as punch.
