You're not alone on that one buddy!! I think I remember Lewis saying that the Fast Eddie's corporate was looking into that.

They were lookiing at a location in Denton and had problems with coming to teerms on the lease. I haven't heard anything lately, but I wouldn't give up on them just yet. When Fast Eddies really wants something, things have a way of working out.

Thanks!

So... I knew ahead of time this event would be big, so thought it'd be great to put the brackets online.... even tho in the back of my mind I thought, "are you sure you know what you are getting yourself into again?"

I tell you what, after taking photos and updating the brackets (all 115 players!), I was exhausted at the end of Saturday! You'd think my body was actually playing in the tournament Saturday!! LOL. It was a lot of names - it was SUCH a GREAT turnout! How awesome. :)

It was fun updating the event for everyone - hope everyone enjoyed the info. Although, my feet could use a nice massage now. ;)

I played okay on Sunday in the women's event - had some great learning experiences (everyone knows what that means, right? Means I didn't win but wise enough to not just ***** about my losses and blame it on stupid excuses). I'll be updating my experience on my blog sometime this week.

Oh, and should have the photos up this week sometime, too. I took A LOT! I think the most difficult part will be adding all the names to all the photos I took.

P.S. It was VERY hot in there with not full A/C. I survived that on Sunday during play, but I felt for the guys on Saturday when there were even more people in there that day.

P.S.S. Paul and Lewis run such a GREAT tournament!

I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work in providing updates for the tournament. It was nice being able to keep up with the progress of friends I had playing in the tourney. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Thank you to Paul (Stones) and Lewis (Ironman) for all that you do in putting on your tournaments. And thank you Melinda (akaTrigger), as you are always there taking pictures, and in this case putting up brackets too, all while you are playing in the events and trying to stay focused too. The brackets were updated in a timely fashion and it was appreciated by all who couldn't be there. Most of the events that put up brakets are very slow to update, and often don't even finish updating, even after the event is over. They are next to worthless when handled in this manner, as they were with another event that was on the front page at the same time as this one. Thanks again!

Thanks everyone! It is nice to know they were being followed. Sometimes I wonder if they are going to never never land, but that's cool folks were watching them!

It really was fun updating them - still surprising I was exhausted at the end of the day, tho! LOL.
