PacMan Tourney up and running

Its sad to see so few Americans here, and understandably so with the USBTC and the expense involved, but on the bright side, it is clear we now have an international game, which is good for pool in general. Now if we could just figure out a way to get ALL the top players there.

Rodney and Toasty losing in day1. I also dont see ko pin yi, appleton, mika on the list.

I have a solution for your whining. "Put up your own tournament!!!"

BS. If this is going to be a damn WPA WORLD 10 BALL CHAMPIONSHIP, by this day in age a decent stream ought to be required as part of hosting the event. Plain and simple.

Because, in all honesty, this forums is vastly dominated by a bunch of overly vocal Americentric whiny cry babies who honestly contribute a whole lot of nothing.

Hell, one of the best posters on this forum is Poolnoob. Not sure where he's from, but he contributes by constantly updating the VLSports Taiwan pro pool thread. That's way more than most on here do.

I have the most posts in the funny pic thread, so I know you are not referring to me :slap:

I have the same solution for you and it's the simplest one!!

sorry about the poor stream. apparently, our country is still in the year 2004. we're not that up-to-date when it comes to technology. 90% of pool players here dont even know what "low-deflection" is. :grin-square:

btw, the other set of group matches will be tomorrow. starts 10am Manila time.

Chill out guys.
I know we have all been spoiled by Kazoom multiple tables clear crisp stream at last year's W9B
And it was all FREEEEEE
with oil price at low, I do hope the oil sheikhs continue to pay Kazoom to continue for this years W9B

Anyway, Last years MP Cup stream in elimination stages were watchable- that is how we know about Biado -Pulpul drama, Efren winning
Let us hope the stream will be better approaching the elimination stages.:D

I know it his decision....but I think this is part of the downside of American pool.....that Shane wpould rather playt bar pool , than win a world championship.

I'd rather watch this than pay to watch bbar pool..........

I do not think this is true he had made prior commitment to return as defending
champion of the the US Bar Table Championships 10 ball and 9 ball he won
both last year.
Then they schedule the Pac-man event and at the last minute decide to make it the world 10 ball championship at the same time as USBTC .
And the USBTC earns points needed to make the team for this years Mosconi Cup team.

TY for explaining that.........was not aware of these circumstances/

Shane's a mosconi lock anyway. SVB should've went to the 10b champsionship. 40K-1st, 20K-2nd, vs 4K at the USBTC.

I'd love to see him go after a WC too but if he is honoring a commitment to be there to defend his titles, I respect that.

Last year at the USBTC, Shane won (if I added correctly) $11,720, including the All-Around Bonus.

But I hope his staying "home" was more of a loyalty thing than a money thing.
