Pagulayan brand chalk - TAOM formula

Well from what we have seen Taom seems to have leased the formula to Preadator for their new "pure" chalk. So i don't think this is far fetched

I can see your name/brand on the chalk, but who is buying all of the clothes with only his name on it? Seems a bit weird to me...

Nike, Adidas, etc are all brands. This just just his name which I guess he's trying to change into a brand?

IMO 100% it's Taom V10. I don't mind the round shape of V10 but this is ideal for guys who like square chalk. It's not as tall as a cube of Masters but it's the same footprint.

Goes on the same, just as clean, same color, smells the same, even the wrapper is the same material as the V10 and made in Finland.

Alex is making business here. Make a deal with Taom to get branded chalk and sell it with small profit. You don´t need to sell very much to get decent pay and no need to put anything up except website to sell..
In process he get a lot of following on social media etc.. I think he is preparing to retire for very competitive play and making investements to future years. :)

I bought the blue Pagulayan and it is definitely grittier than the green. It doesn't apply as easily as the green and the green definitely is more lasting than the blue, both with the Taom and Pag's. However, the blue is still a lot more cleaner than any other traditional blue chalk that's out there.

I years past, I used to clean my table as soon as I saw my left bridge hand get blue from the chalk. I've been using the Taom for over a year, and now Pag's and It's been over a year since I've cleaned my table. Admittedly, I did recover my table a few weeks ago but I am seeing no evidence of the blue Taom and Pagulayan getting on the table cloth.

Blue is most likely = Pyro

I would bet most of those shirts are print on demand (not made by some third party until an order is placed), so there is no real cost to offer for them for sale. It’s just a fake shirt image with a logo he uploaded.

I have some stupid pool shirts and football logo shirts and his seem no different.

His recent IG video seems to show some shelving with a ton of clothing Merch and other bits. So seems he already did the bulk order

(tbh, depending on where he sources materials, it's not a huge expense... here in China, some of the quality you can find for peanuts these days is beyond my comprehension)

Is it safe to say
the blue of pag is close to pyro or 2.0?
and the green is close to v10?

I saw Alex in Vegas recently and he had a vendor table. I asked if it was made by Taom and he said yes, but a slightly different formula.
I bought a piece and tried it out at Griffs. I went back a couple days later and bought 4 more green and one piece of blue.
The green sticks to my Predator break and jump cue very well. It sticks to them better than Taom V10, so I think it is different. The blue chalk didn't stick to my break or jump tips though. The blue and green are fine with my playing cues though.

i’ve always used masters, and although intrigued by the cleanliness of v10, the circular shape has been enough to put me off of buying a piece.

now that there is finally a cube available i may just give it a try. hopefully it will reduce the frequency with which i clean my shaft.
