Pagulyan Carbon Fiber shaft?

but it was a good move to make it square. I have a piece of taom, not sure where I got it, I used a couple weeks ago because I found it in my bag. What stupid idea it was to make it round, it's always rolling away on you, into pockets, onto the floor. It's not in my bag anymore.
Not stupid at all ... You drop it ... They roll away ... You buy more ... Don't let it get away from you

I think Alex has just spoken up about his shaft  I like his message 🤣

Looks like a wood plug to me. Meucci does same thing at both ends. You buying one? Probably ordered the second you heard it was coming out.

Fantastic marketing, this guy. Here's the video of this.

Can't say I was interested before, but I can definitely say I am not now.

His logic as to why the shaft is so expensive is clearly aimed at people who are uneducated and are not free thinkers. And I think he knows that and uses it to his advantage. Pretty funny though.

I think if it was at least $500 people would be all over it.

"the reason why it's so expensive is because it's worth it" lmfao bro what.

"The 'Pag' shaft, because its fkn worth it" Helluva ad campaign. ;)
$800 is really wild. I'm still waiting on someone that shot with one at Derby to comment. Odd that no one has so far, at least that I've seen.

Kinda seems like he would have handed a couple out to some better non-sponsored players for testimonials and such.

he was on some podcast explaining how he didn't like cf for many types of games. maybe he should clip that in his ad

We all know Alex prefers wood over carbon. I get most of the newer generation is using carbon shafts, but it feels inauthentic. The price tag and non-answer as to what makes it so special makes it worse. Alex is one of the few pros who’s pretty particular about what they like and can articulate why. He fumbled it here. I suspect the real reason for the high price tag is the carbon blanks are from China, but he’s getting rinsed with manufacturing/labour costs having them finished in Canada.

Looking at the marketing ads it looks like a bunch of word salad. Wtf is a “warm, authentic hit” 😂 Sounds to me like the next “innovation” in carbon shaft engineering means going back to wood lol

It is, absolutely love my Kielwood shaft

Anyone else imagine that one of garzar's ancestors was hanging around France in the early 1800's with a quill pen writing a rant about these new leather tips that they put on their cues and how some fool is gonna spend 2 francs on it? :ROFLMAO:

Meucci wood plugs in Carbon Pro.jpg

This makes sense if he did to the Pagulayan shaft what Meucci does to its Carbon Pro --- put wood plugs at joint and tip end to make carbon fiber feel like wood. If so, this is a marketing plus as Meucci explains in its touting the Carbon Pro:
