Pagulyan Carbon Fiber shaft?

He is nuts to price the shaft any higher then the Mezz Ignite, or the Triple 60 Whyte Carbon. Lol, even the Fedor Gorst Whyte Carbon is $670, but it is an inch longer, and has a longer taper, for anyone who might think that is an upgrade, or anyone who just wants to try Fedor's special spec shaft.
I have the FG57 shaft. It's awesome. Yes, it's expensive, but you can get additional joint inserts for different pin types, so you only have to buy 1 shaft, and have it fit on all of your cues.

what it means is they don't sell tubes to other makers. whether they own the factory or they use an exclusive outsourcer is info you can't get. there are multiple asian tube makers that smaller outfits buy from. they are not buying same tubes as becue/cuetec/pred/whyte, these are exclusive to that brand. All those are filament wound and that process requires a very expensive initial investment compared to flag-wrapped tubes like virtually all the others use. Not real sure on Mezz or Longoni, could be in-house or thru a supplier.

Way off topic, but I recently seen a Lambros CF shaft for sale. The special Lambros pilot is Wood. Maybe he cores it with maple to give it more of a wood like hit. No idea, but Lambros is the last cue maker that I ever thought woukd come out with a CF shaft. I bet he somehow made his own tube though, because the taper looked like a Lambros type of taper to me.

eventually, all cue makers will offer CF shaft as an option or as a standard or even the only option. It's the future.
