I will retract the yellowing spots above 2 of the points. I was looking through photos on my machine and noticed it minutes ago, for that I will apologize.
The rest however still stands, dirt all in the clear along the forearm and horrible scratches along the butt cap and 60% of the rest of the cue.
I will have pictures taken tonight at the pool hall and post them upon return this evening. You know this is a hack job Aaron, I want this behind me just as much as you.

No Way!!! You have completly been dishonest about my work and made very untruthful damaging statements and it's your turn to prove it!!! I absolutely no better!! Don't you run after you feel you have gotten your fill. I can make any cue look like with dust by rolling the cue on any surface and take High flash pictures at bad angles. Thats not going to cut it. Buck up as I know you other playing cues and send it off and PROVE IT!!! I'll even Pay the person and pay for next day air both ways. Don't run from the truth!:mad:

Not somebody I have taken Potential work from. Scott is a honest guy I feel but I do not believe he can be un bias. Pick another, Bogey54311 , Spanky981 , Chrisonline , Mr.Wilson , Speedy , Guy Crunch , ETC....

I agree I could make photos looks like the issues I mentioned, however once a person holds the cue in their hands and sees the problems are under the clear, well we all know what to think then.:rolleyes:

Jesus Christ man what more do you want? 99% of the people on this forum will say Scott is one of the best in the profession...and you say no...what a joke.
 
Look Aaron, Ill send the cue to Russ or Scott, you decide. One way or another I am going to have to have it refinished again and I'm only going to send it out once.

I'm out the door to league, make a decision on who, I prefer Scott but I guess you think he is "out to get you" too.:eek:

I never burned a bridge with Scott. I just want somebody to have NO invested intrest either way. Think about it!!

Why would Scott have a vested interested in your work? From what I've heard about Scott I believe he would post an honest review regardless of his personal interests or not.

And if you say the work is as good as you claim when it left your shop then it really shouldn't matter who examines it right?

But I would expect photographic evidence to back up any 'flaws' - as of right now all I've seen is a unfinished cue and the words of an upset customer.

(still trying to be neutral in this)

Doesn't SA think these people are honest? Does he think they're not capable of determining a quality refinish and rewrap? In addition to the above I would also respect HOWARDS and EDWARDS opinion.

Unlike RUSS and SCOTT any of the abovelisted would bave no bias in rendering their opinion. Not to say that SCOTT or RUSS have issues of moral turpitude BUT it can be hard for some to say that our competitor does great work at an economical price.

Many harmfull things have been said and its time to resolve this.
 
Not sure that he would even want to get involved with this, but why not send it to someone like Sean over @ Cue Addicts? It is, after all, part of his business to evaluate cues as to value and condition. And since there is also Jeff and Scott involved in the business as well, there could be a possible consensus, as there would be more than one available to evaluate the cue. I feel that it might well be the best alternative to satisfy both parties involved.

Just a thought as to the best possible way to resolve this issue.

C'mon..second opinions are ALWAYS given by someone else that does the work also. Thats why expert witnesses are actually experts..they do or have done the job themselves before. Obviously the only people competent to say whether a refinish job is up to par is someone who actually refinishes, don't you think?

I am not disagreeing with this point, but since Aaron seems to think there would be a 'conflict of interest' with either Russ or Scot, then the next logical place to go would not be someone that Aaron has previously done business with, as he is suggesting, but an impartial party, whose expertise lies in evaluting cues for the purpose of buying or selling....and since there is more than one involved in the above-mentioned long established business, the evaluating would not be limited to the opinion of one individual. It seemed like the best solution to receiving an honest, informed, and UNBIASED evaluation.
