Palmer model 14 with Szamboti forearm

This is a nice example and rare. This Szamboti forearm is one with the purple outer veneer. We have had a few Gus cues with this odd point, but never a Palmer. In talking with Bill Schick at one of the Hopkins shows he had mentioned that sometime in the 70's that the veneer company they all used for veneers had run out of black. He mentioned he has a few cues with the outside purple floating around.

Man, that is fine. What do Szam forearm Palmers usually run; I would love to have one.

the Gus I have also has this veneer configuration and Barry said it's his dad's "Titalist[sic] colors" and there wasn't a lot of them.
