This is a very nice vintage palmer both butt an shaft are straight. the wrap is not original to the cue I think it has been wrapped with nylon. Other than that for a 40+ year old cue it's in nice shape. Description of cue ebony forearm, natural,green,orange, and black verneers. and pearl dots. For better describtion here is a link to the Palmer collector www.palmercollector.com. Asking $ 2200 OBO. If from the DFW area will meet some were in between.

palmer cue

The bumper on there does not go with the cue, it's not orignal to the cue. I just put it on it to shoot a couple of racks with it.
 
The J is a great cue. I would like to congratulate the seller for managing to offer a J for sale without mentioning Gus's hallowed name.

Meantime, is it? Can it be?

Looks more like it than mine does. Mine is a Palmer blank. If I could set it beside my Gus cues, I could tell you.

I layed my Palmer by Gus and it was obvious.
