Wow, that's what it looks like! And Liz beat Ga Young? That is weird too! Liz plays about my speed. Julia Gabriel squeaked one out against Megan Minerich. I was impressed with her game last year at BCA Nationals in Vegas. I never played her, but was alongside her most of the time.

Gee Linda, that is pretty impressive since just a few weeks ago you claimed to be just a lowley C player when you wanted to get into the Cue's Amateur tournament. Your speed seems to have some kind of special flexibility depending on your post? I know Liz pretty well since we were BCA teammates a few years ago and she was no less than a B+ player back then!

Wow, when was the last time Allison Fisher got beat in the first round? They even have a seeding system in the WPBA that ensures the top ranked players don't meet until the late rounds.

I dunno if Allison ever lost in first round, however i do remember at Florida a few of the top 10 went down in second rounds-Allison being one of them. That road back to semis was tough. Thats when she had them neck problems before the match-and like a true champion gave a great show, shooting first three matches left handed or a bridge. Good Luck Ally!

Cuechick - I told you I am a B men's player, pure and simple. I never said I was a C player, nor would I ever want to. You got me banned from the women's Atlanta tournament (I hope you won), even when I told you that we were both ranked as an APA 7. I have never hid the fact that I played on the pro tour, but I never became a pro. As far as the WPBA is concerned, I am an amateur and until I play in the IPT and get paid, I am still considered an amateur. Ask Kelly Oyama.

All I wanted to do was meet some of the local women while I was there, not take off a bunch of women. I know you felt threatened by me, but I was not there to win money. In fact, I flew my daughter in and we had a great time shopping. The trip ended up costing me about $1500, and that was with a free flight and hotel stay at the Intercontinental. So it wasn't about the money. I hope you get to a place where you will welcome all women pool players without thinking about yourself and protecting your little spot in the tournament.

Liz is Liz Schwartzreich, right? And got married to someone named Ford?

A player with "B" skill level credentials meets the requirements to be in a capped field of 150 of the best players in the world?
Enjoy your 2006 season.

Yes, thank you. I intend to.

Linda,
I could have cared less if you played or not, I have played on NEWT, CAT & SEAL and have played many many touring pros. I posted the notice to encourage new women to play and I did not get you banned that was up to the tournament director.
This is a very small local tournament and I was shocked when you made it sound like you would be flying out for it. There is hardly enough money in it to cover your gas let alone airfare. I just did not want you showing up to be turned away at the last minute. I do believe you when say you were never a touring pro, but that just makes the bio on the Tailsman site, that states you are or were, a bit confusing......am I mistaken or did you not say you were acceppted to the IPT?

And yes that is the same Liz...

wpba tour

 to me i just hate it when allison fisher loses this is her second loss in the 2006 tour and she got beat by pan well you know the old saying goes when the going gets tough the tough get going

"World Champion", Ga-Young Kim also lost in the 1st round. Liz Ford wins 1st round

I'll happy to see Pan bounced back after apparantly losing some form and confidence at the previous WPBA event and the world champs.

I suspect she needed a rest, as she travelled and competed more in the last 2 months than she has in the previous 2 years.

I notice she beat Tracie Hines in the 2nd round.

Go Pan :D

btw. Kim Ga Young beat Liz Ford 9-6 in the first round. There seems to be some confusion about that.

Hey Colin,
You are correct.
I now see WPBA has revised the brackets, from what I saw earlier.

"Have a nice day",

Aww man this ticks me off, Allison going out like that.

Tru dat. I go to watch the finals of the San Diego Classic every year and last year was the first time I didn't get to see Allison play. I felt like demanding my money back!

Has to be tough everyone gunning for you though, and wanting that championship, but being Allison, Karen, Monica, Jeanette, etc.... everyone is out to get you outta the hot seat and trny. Just like leagues here being in the top team everyone wants blood and plays their A game when they play you.
