Congrats to my friend Pan Xiaoting on winning for her second time at the Japan All Open. She beat Kim Ga Young on the way. I don't know who she played in the final but she won it 9-1

Okumura of Japan won the mens beating Mike Immonen 11-5 in the final.

Whoa! That was one hell of a strong tournament. Thanks for posting, Colin. Okumura is one of those players that doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves simply because of his deliberate style. Right up there with JJ, Varner, Ralph, Parica & Co.

I'm happy for him and I hope I'll be able to see him play live one day. Only seen 'em on Accu-stats so far and loved it.

I'm yet to see him play, but it is an excellent performance.

The men's All Japan Open has one of the toughest international fields in pool. Unfortunately not quite enough money to lure the best US players it seems.
