Every year i hear about great parties at VF and i was just wondering as to how someone gets invited to these parties. i never knew they existed until last year...................................mike

I think only hot chicks get invited- everyone else crashes.

As many on here already know, last year the day of the IP Party i spoke with JR for at least 15 minutes, gave him an inside scoop too. He never mentioned the IP party. He and his magazine which gets thinner every month are dead to me!!

usually you have to get a bracelet to get in. i usually get them from ppl i know that have booths. thank you for the bracelets by the way (you know who you are)

I don't know if you read these posts but TY I had a great time at your party and I hope it goes down again in August. I have no doubt everyone had a great time and I am very glad you invited me. Next time I hope to be able to extend you some relief for your trouble.

The main party is put on by Eric "Jeeves" Colbert. It used to be billed as the "Inside Pool" party thanks to Eric's generosity toward his erstwhile "friend" JR Calvert. JR offered to help defray the growing costs of the Inside Pool party and never paid anything. Still though he was able to reap the benefits of appearing to throw a lavishly supplied party for the vendors and select guests.

Luckily for all of us Jeeves made JR Calvert "persona non grata" and the JEEVES PARTY was straight up rockin' as always.

You get an invitation from the man himself or from those he gives armbands to. I have felt very privileged to get an invite each year and the opportunity to bring some friends.

Thanks again Eric for a jam-up party. Your hospitality is unsurpassed.
