I tried a friend of mine's Diveney cue and it hit a ton...I also tried his jump break and it hit a ton and jumped like crazy....He told me Diveney cues are quite expensive...Even the plain ones....
My question is this. Who owns a Diveney cue and how does yours hit and play and are they worth the big bucks ??? I am considering checking on them but would like some feed back first.....Thanks

New cue

I ordered a sneaky from Pat and he called last week to tell me that he is making it this weekend. He said he has a new G10 Radial pin. I went with the 3/8 11 G10 and 2 lakewood shafts. Pat is easy to deal with and a nice person.

I will try and post some photos when I get it.

I've got the same cue except mine doesn't have the lakewood shafts. My SW shafts fit PERFECT and it's my player when I'm stealth:)

Can'T go wrong for the $

I own this cue in the photo and it also has lake salvage shafts and hit's awesome, it's my favorite playing cue. The hit with the G-10 pin is great. I have another on order with Pat now with also a G-10. As for price, I don't think he's expensive at all, his prices are quite good IMO.

I would love to see a few closeups of your Diveney cue. It looks good, even from far away.

I have a few Diveneys and have never had a cue that felt as proper in my hands. The ball just goes where I think it is- can't really explain, it just 'act right'.

Pat's prices are very reasonable for the quality and service offered.

Get one, if you can!

Here ya go, just what ya asked for. Pat is in the middle of a cue for me right now that will be nicer than this one, Not a butterfly. 3 sectioned wrapless ebony, ivory & abalone, I'll have it in August. It has a Radial G-10 pin with a solid ivory joint, can't wait to get it in my hands. I own a lot of cues, Bender, Schick, etc., but this butterfly with lake salvage shafts is just an awesome playing cue, it's what I play with. Thanks for the compliment on the cue BTW.

My Husband and I both own and play with Diveney's Cues both custom. I can tell you that I have NEVER felt anything like the hit of the Diveney ITS AMAZING. I believe he secretly installs an "auto-pilot" feature that almost makes the cue ball act radio-controlled!!

I would say that they are WELL worth the money!! In my opinion the best Cue Maker of all time!

If you would like to see my husbands cue, check out www.indyq.com It's the one on the main page under the big "WOW". This is known to be the most detailed cue made by Diveney thus far.

If you do deside to get one I would do it soon... He's getting bigger and the demand is growing I see the prices going up and the waiting list growing.. Now would be the time to act.

I wish you well,
Jacqui

Jeffrey,
Those are some REALLY nice cues.

I especially like Bender cues. Do you have close up pictures of it? You may see my new Bender cue in the August issue of Billiards Digest if things go according to their plans.

Thanks!

Yes he is!! He Sponsors quite a few Great Playing Ametuer Players.... Myself included. I would have mentioned that sooner but I didn't want to seem bias.
