People talk about what The Hustler and The Color of Money did for the pool industry in the States. Their releases also helped the pool industry in many countries. Movie memorabilia from some foreign countries are actually more colorful than most of the English material I have seen.
Here is some of my TH & COM memorabilia, the last picture(The Young Philadelphians) is one of my favourite Newman pics. I have never added more than one picture at a time, so bare with me.

Glad you enjoy and excellent avatar. He was very accommodating to many causes. Hopefully more of today's stars follow in his footsteps to help others.

When I heard Paul Newman had passed, it made me do a lot of thinking about this game I have loved so much for so long. I finally narowed down to 36 yers off and on I have been playing. There are so many memories, bad and good. I'll have them forever though.

The Hustler I've seen countless times and when the book TCOM came out, I just couldn't wit to buy and read. I read it in one night and just loved it. When the movie was released, I enjoyed it, but was disappointed to be honest, but I suppose Hollywood does what they have to do and didn't ask my approval either.

No matter how hard some may try, nothing will replace the Hustler or TMOC, ever.

Interestingly enough, CBS This Morning did no less than three stories on Paul Newman. In EVERY one, both The Hustler and TCOM were mentioned, and highlighted, as two of his classic roles! Maybe NOW the BCA might find it fitting to honor Mr. Newman, in their meritorius service catagory (as they already have Walter Tevis).

After that, five of us went on a road trip...to San Antonio.

We didn't get any action.

The windup was we ended up playing each other."
