The tournament just got under way. A great field of 27 players, including Tim Hall, Scotty Townsend, Tommy Kennedy, Tony Crosby, Donnie Mills, Tracie Hines and Stephanie Mitchell.

Round 1 feature match up on Table 1 - Tommy Kenedy Vs Donnie Mills

Well, it's raining heavily in Tampa, it's $7.50 in Tolls on the Veteran's Expressway, $12.75 in gas and I'd miss the Judge Judy re-reuns. Plus, speeding tickets are extra (not to mention any D.U.I.s)....

Yeah, but it beats the alternative (and it's only 2 blocks from HOME base)..

Tracie Hines played very well to get past Tim Hall - won the match by making the 9 on the break 7-5.

Matches will resume tomorrow afternoon.
 
The action started off at 100 Pm this afternoon with Tony Crosby taking on Dave Ross, and Donnie Mills taking on Scotty Townsend in the Winners bracket.

Donnie Mills squeaked past Scotty Townsend 9-7 .

Tony Crosby defeated Dave Ross 9-5.

Scotty went to the one loss side where he went against Tracie Hines. Tracie put up a good fight, but in the end Scotty took the match 9-4.

Dave Ross ran into Tommy Kennedy and Tommy played great and won that match 9-4.

This set up a match between TK and Scotty. It was a great match, and Tommy got past Scotty 9-2. It was great to have Scotty at this event. He is a great guy, a great player, and lots of fun to have around. He did a great job, finishing 4th.

Tony Crosby took on Donnie Mills for the hotseat. It was a back and forth match, but in the end, Donnie pulled it out.

This put Tommy Kennedy against Tony Crosby in the 1 loss final, and after a great back and forth match, Tony beat Tommy 9-7.

The final is a true double elimination - between Donnie Mills and Tony Crosby - as of right now, Donnie is ahead 3-0.
 
Donnie Mills is on the hill, unable to get out - Tony win that game - it's now 8-4. - Mills ahead, Crosby breaking.
 
Donnie Mills wins the match 9-4.

1st - Donnie Mills $635
2nd - Tony Crosby $500
3rd - Tommy Kennedy $300
4th - Scotty Townsend $200

5/6 - Tracie Hines - $100
5/6 - Dave Ross - $100
