Well I picked this cue up as a player, a guy walked in the pool room with it so I asked for a test hit, and wow. I had to have the cue. Sure it's only a 200$ low end pechauer, but that doesn't matter. I've played with their higher end cues and this thing just plays phenomenal in my opinion. Straight stained black maple, no wrap, and the shaft is taken down to 12.5mm with the stock Emerald tip, (which I think are under-rated) I've put them on almost all my cues for one the price, and two I just love the way they shape and play overall. This thin hits great, I got it wayyyyy below retail so I'm holding on to this one. At least until the next cue catches my eye :)

I agree. I have a Pechauer JP-USA and it plays terrific. I bought it 3 years ago at the Super Billiards Expo for $150, well worth the money. I also have a Pechauer PRO H(looks like a sneaky pete and retails for about $270) that I bought on Ebay for $161. Both of these cues play great. If someone wants a good playing cue but does not need the fancy appearance, these cues deserve their consideration. Thank you.

I had the pro-H a couple cues back and honestly It just wasn't up to par so I got rid of it real quick, but then again a friend has one that hits great. Just depends on which one ya get I reckon.

I bought a pechauer as my first cue in 2005, and it hit great. In fact I just bought another one. M first one was a jp series low end. New one is a higher end p18 pro series from 2003 and hits phenomenal just can't go wrong with a pechauer IMO

Looks more like my SE-1 (minus the battle scars), I think the JP-USA has a slightly different joint and collar and is not signed. The SE-1 is basically the same but signed and with the Pro series collar and Emerald tip. Great cue either way! I love shooting with mine and will still have it as a backup/bar player once my custom comes in.
