hello, is there a big difference in the less expensive jp serie and the pro series cues? did they play nearly the same? how good are this cues in general? tell me as much as you know about these brand
thank you very much

I would suggest giving them a call. They are great people.

I think they are all built the same.

I have played with several of there cues, some cheap and some expensive and i have to say i thought they all played great. IMO they are the best mass production cue on the market.

I used to live a couple of miles from their shop. I have hit with lots and seen how they held up. It has been my experience that the lower end models are just that. They did not compare in anyway to the pro series.

BTW:
Their SP plays really well and looks great!

I just picked up my 2nd Pechauer and I'm happy with it. The last one I had was one of the Pro Limited models (retail of $920.00) and this is just a JP series (retail of $240.00) and they play exactly the same in my opinion. In all honesty, I think a Pechauer plays very, very similar to a Schon. A buddy of mine has a few different Schons and when he his my Pechauer he said the same thing.

I have several - I have a PL01 as my daily player. My wife has a couple, but plays mostly with a SP. They are a little more forward balanced than other cues, but the workmanship is great, and customer service is awesome too.

My player is a p19 from the 03-04 serie. Stiff hit and solid overall playing cue. Contacted Scott Douglas(if I recall the name correctly) regarding the cue and he was very kind.

I emailed them and asked them how their cues hit, and they say that the cheaper JP series hits similar to a McDermott, while the PRO series hits more like a Joss or Schon. That is exactly what they said. I had one for a short while, and sold it, but kinda regret it.
