I just got back from Marietta and Larry Nevel double-dipped Stevie Moore in the finals to win the Pechauer tourney that was at Side Pockets this weekend. Larry played unreal in those last 2 sets. His break was just unstoppable. Also, saw Mike Janis and he is doing fine since his motorcycle accident.

We need to rename many of the tours...."The Truth Tour".
Truth is...everyone else is playing for 2nd place. Larry is making a nice coin snapping off most of these smaller regional events.

Who would be favored if Larry and Stevie gambled? Can that game happen?

If you ask Stevie, he'll tell you he is. But if Larry asks him to gamble, he says no. If Larry offers him the 8, he still says no. So I'm not sure how he figures himself to be favored, but he does. Or at least he did last July in Knoxville when I was there.

Let's bring it up again.......his attitude!

IMO, it takes a very humble pool player to admit a "peer" is better than they are, and most great players are not humble.

(For the record, "peers" would be considered to be around the same level.. Archer would not be a peer of Stevie, but Nevel is in the same general talent level, I think.)
