Hey Yall Im in Pensacola well in Pace for the next 2 months..... only pool joint I heard of was 9 mile Billiards but have yet to check it out........

IF anyone wants to get together and hit some balls for nothing...hit me up.......warnin I may only get to check my stuff online bout once a week if that!

Home sweet home..........

I miss that place. I lived there back in 91-94. I remember only one pool hall, I can't remember the name, but I doubt it's still there. Im pretty sure there are places out there. Just gotta check the yellow pages. Have fun! For some nice r&r you should cross the 3 mile bridge and head on over to the island and kick it at pensacola beach

The one hall, was it Fireside or J&J's, or maybe Pockets or Starbucks? Could have been The Golden Crown also, I guess.

The Golden Crown closed.
Pockets turned into Starbucks, and now they are closing.
Fireside into J&J's, then into Hardtimes. Still going.

Golden Crown sounds familiar...

I believe that was it. I forgot what street it was on but I remember the big 5x10 that they had in the back. That was only allowed for the money games.

when i lived there in the 70's there was a place called the Barrel's . it looked like a large barrel cut in half. one side a dance club with bar. the other a pool room with bar.

carl.

John "Mr. 400 lives in Pensacola. He would know for sure where all the rooms are. Probably the action bars too. Johnnyt

I believe "Mr 400" is the owner of 9 Mile Billiards. I've been once. Nice place.

Not looking for action of any kind......I cant fire that many airbarrels :P:P Just looking for a nice decent room to hit some balls while Im downhere.......9 Mile is like 10-15 minutes from where I am staying.

John was to potentially be a partner in Nine Mile Billiards. When it came time to pony up Mike Casey no longer needed any help. Mr. Schmidt still has "his" table and pictures on the wall, but my understanding is he is in no way owner/partner in the place.

It's an ok room, but it gets a bit too 'club-like' on the weekends. Good for business though.

That's Fireside aka J&J's, now under the moniker Hardtimes Billiards. That 5x10 snooker table is tight as hell!

PM Nick Serdula. He lives in Pensacola and would be able to help you with locating some pool rooms, for sure. Pensacola is not far from Ft Walton Beach, and Starcades is a real player's room there.
