Lot's of ways, but here's a solution I offer. Holder comes with different sized spacers and a box to hold everything. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1492000803/
You can get down to the very bottom of the chalk with this setup.
I sell all the pieces-parts a la carte, but the kitchen sink is most popular. Comes with a box to hold everything as well.

I prefer to put my chalk on the table and take it away from the table when I am not shooting.
Yeah, but if you play for many hours with you hand in/out of your pocket a few hundred times it damages your skin, and the pocket bottom will become unthreaded.
It's why men's jeans have those small r/s pockets. HEAVY coins always works it's way thru the pocket bottom threads.
i played a guy that had his masters chalk in his jeans for hours a day and it eventually wore through the jeans on the outside. he put it in the pocket, chalk fell on the floor
maybe the taom type chalk is less abrasive that way, idk

have no clue what you're talking about. i have two holders that were 3d printed and given to me by usedtoberich. i put two quarters in the bottom and they work perfect. i found this piece of Taom green and based on its wear so far i might have it for the next few years.It sure is!! I found a discarded base, probably garczar's, and tore the magnet out of it. I use it now to keep the door closed on my small cue cabinet.

I don't buy expensive chalk and I don't mind chalk on the table, as long as it is kept to just a couple pieces.
I have played with people who put chalk on every rail and you were constantly having to move them.
I usually take their crap to where they are sitting and say something when they do that.
Many pros leave chalk on the rail.

I have often held my chalk in my brige hand while shooting. Kind of like a pacifier or crucifix or dreidel.
Just yankin' your chain boss.

So don't put a piece of chalk on every diamond, got it.
I tried that and women would just give me a disgusting look and move away from me. Then my friend told me to put it in my ‘front’ pocket
There was a time that I would leave my chalk on the rail. My method was to place it on the rail as a landmark. Using it to mark where I wanted whitey to go. My excuse was, well that's where I will need it next. A pro player saw what I was doing and pointed out that it was marking the table, which is against the rules. So I quit doing it. Well he did more than point it out. He got up and removed it from the rail and handed it to me before I could shoot. I have seen chalk winged across the room by an incoming shooter when it was left by the outgoing shooter. Just a reminder to take your shit with you when you leave the table.
