Great story.Good for you.Point is talk to a mngr!your story reminds me of the time i had a problem a cellular provider. years ago i used to manage a sattelite office for a utility contractor. we provided all our foremen and other key presonnel with cell phones.
we had a problem with 8 or 9 of the phones and i had my secretary call their office and try to resolve the problem. she told me the clerk was rude and hung up on her. i told her to get them on the phone for me . when i got on the phone the lady was also rude and said she did not have time to listen to my problem at the moment and call back later.
i promptly had my secretary call another cell provider and set up an account with them.
the next 2 months my home office sent me bills from the previous cell provider and i would not authorize payment.
well after the 3rd month i get a visit from the store manager asking why i was not authorizing payments to his company. i explained the situation to him and he apologized for his clerks behavior. he said he would terminate her because he did not condone such actions. i told him it did not matter to me how he ran his office.
he asked what could he do to get my biz back and i said nothing because i was happy with the service we were currently getting.
well his tone changed and he said i had signed a contract and was obligated to pay the remaining balance under said contract whether i voided the contract or not.
i told him i did not void the contract but it was his company that voided it. he asked ...how so ? i said you failed to provide the service i signed for and so your company voided the contract as far as i am concerned so i am under no obligation to pay you one single penny and this meeting is over.
never heard another word from them lol.
