Is the gold in the design gold fill (similar to scrimshaw) or gold wire? Amazing work either way. I was very close to buying one of Perry's cues a few years ago.

he did not let out his secret on how he did it but it appears to be gold leaf because of its flicker in the light, unlike the smooth polished gold on the rest of the cue

Intriguing to say the least....would have enjoyed watching him build it:)
 
OOooH...... I thought for a minute there someone was complimenting one of dale's 1/1 high end cue works of art:D.............and don't forget the certificate of authenticity!

if dale perry made this, then a miracle has occured...i'd start buying his cues.
