Here's that last of it. Sorry for the poor quality. They are old pics taken with a cheap camera and then scanned.

I might see Mike tomorrow - I'll give a hard time about wearing those pants in public! lol

I was at that tournament Dick Henry from the springs took Mike Sigel to the hill...... I was only 16 but remember it like it was yesterday. I got Fats to sign not stamp his signature

Golf Course

Those pants might find theirway on to the golf course in Europe maybe! It could be used as a hustle nowadays.  How about the nerd in the Coors suspenders!!

He had a stroke to die for. He took the tourney $5000.00 1st pl. I had the opportunity to play Ronnie Allen and Roy futternick in the 9Ball event. 2 and out, but it was fun.

Nice, interesting pics. One of Pauls brothers Al Gerni is one of my best friends in Denver. Al used to tell me about his brother Paul, I would say, yeah, whatever, not that I didn't believe him. Then one night a few years ago, after I got back into pool, I saw Paul on ESPN playing a match for the trick shot world championship, and I think he lost to an Italian.

Al may be in one of those pics, I am sure he would like to see these.

Thanks! But I have finally gotten a copy.

Nice pics! I was there for that tournament. Mike Haines and I interviewed a bunch of the players for an article for BD. I still recall asking Buddy Hall about his match with Sigel the night before. He said he got two shots in the match and they were both kicks! Or something like that. The point being that Mike was playing terrific pool. A young Keith McCready was there also.

Ignore the subject line of this post - it is a product of an autocomplete error on my part.

Thanks Mike

I have seen your website with all you great pics. It sure brought back a lot of great memories. I was on the board of the Colorado Springs Pool League. We helped organize and run the event and brought in Fatty. Maybe you could help identify a couple of people for me.

1) In the first pic I think it is Monk Costanza, who is to his right, the young guy with dark hair?

2) In the second pic, who is over Jean's left shoulder, the guy with the mustache?

Thanks Bill

Here are the identificatins you asked for. BTW, I hope you don't mind me having done a little light photo editing on your pic.

In that first pic of your post, that's Paul Gerni the trick shot artist on the far right of the shot.

Actually, I think it is the fourth pic down from the top and that is Larry Hubbart with the mustache. Pro player Vicki Frechen is just behind Jean.

Warren "Monk" Costanza is in this pic of yours. He is sitting at the table with Mike Sigel.

Larry Hubbart is the one. Thanks for the help. Good luck with the CD from this event.
