PFD Studios Full Splice Ebony/Purpleheart/Silver/Ivory-WOW!!!

Up for sale is my PFD Studios Ebony and Purpleheart full splice cue. This cue is the sister to an Ebony and Tulipwood cue I had last year that I sold to a dealer for $1900. The cue is in excellent condition with very slight taper roll on the shafts that only shows up occasionally. By that I mean depending on the humidity they are either dead straight or they have a slight taper roll. I have discussed this with Paul on many occasions and this is normal.

All the silver in the cue is polished fine silver. It's not steel, or aluminum, or nickle or any other silver alternative. The only exception is the joint sleeve which is polished steel. The Hoppe ring is Ivory.

The cue has a compression fit Titanium Uni-Loc joint and it plays fantastic. It also comes with matching custom joint protectors as seen in the photos. If you take a close look at the jp's you'll notice they are made out of real a Uni-Loc insert and pins. Not like typical Uni-Loc jp's which are made with short delrin inserts. The cost of the jp's alone would be around $350 from Paul if you could talk him into making another set.

Specs:

Butt-15.20oz
Shaft 1-4.3oz/12.7mm with 1/2" Ivory ferrule and Moori medium tip
Shaft 2-4.5oz/12.8mm with 1/2" Ivory ferrule and Moori medium tip
Balance point is 20.5" from the buttcap.

Shaft 1 has very little use and shaft 2 has only been test hit without chalk.

There's a reason why Paul's cues don't come up for sale very often. His attention to detail is superb and they play as good or better than anything else in the market. This cue is no exception. The look and feel of this cue is fantastic. It's an absolute showstopper with the polished silver veneers and inlays against the jet black Ebony and Purpleheart. Although I usually pride myself on taking nice photos, this one was very difficult to capture the details and color of. It needs to be said that the photos of this cue really do not do it justice.

Asking No longer available obo including USPS Priority mail shipping and Paypal fees.

I will consider a partial trade for a fancy sneaky pete by a well known maker or a traditional style cue with 4 points and veneers and a 5/16 x 14 SS joint.

Shoot me a pm if you have any questions.

Amazing wood combo, nice contrast and the uniloc joint is so tight and compressed for a perfect hit.
