I just purchased a double full splice davis blank by Paul Drexler. This cue is a very strong player and the work is awesome. I have played with many of Paul's cue and it was the same for all of them. To say I am happy is the understatement of the century!!! Pics are below.

But here is the real deal. In my honest opinion there is no better value or investment for a player of any level than a PFD. Why is that? Any cue you buy from Paul you can trade back to him for the exact trade-in value you paid him for it!!! Cue of course has to be in good condition or the value changes. All Paul requires is for you to a spend a 1/3 of the original price on the upgraded cue. So if you bought a $900 cue you would need to upgrade to at least a $1200 cue and paul gives you 900 in trade value for your old cue!!!

Paul is a true custom cue maker so he can build anything you want or need, so as your game improves and you find you like an ivory joint with a short ferrule over what you have now you can get a brand new cue from Paul without a huge investment. I honestly believe this is the best deal in custom cues.

I believe Superior Cues honors his trade in policy too, but I am not a 100% sure, you would have to check with Martin.

I hope this has helped. I wish I would have known about this years ago as it would have saved me alot of money and let my game grow with the same cue maker. As we all know, pool is all about consistancy.

Thanks,
Mike

Man that is cool. I agree, PFD is a master cue maker, and is not limited to any style...he does them all so beautifully. Nice cue!

Paul's trade up policy is awesome. He does extent it to his dealers and the original owner can trade up as the OP stated.

Really awesome cue.I seen Al's Pfd at a event a few weeks ago
and can attest that Paul does everything perfect to a tee.

I couldn't agree more Paul is one of the best cue maker alive . I also have owned many of pauls cues and loved everyone of them . I have had the pleasure of working many weekends with paul , he has taught me so much and still helps me with any questions i may still have.
