For break cue, has there been any consideration for making the entire shaft from LE phenolic rod?

It's not. Sledgehammers have canvas based phenolics.Mr. Wilson said:The LE phenolic I am wondering about is the same stuff the tip/ferrule of my break cue is made of. The same sort you'd find on a Sledgehammer cue, one piece combo tip/ferrule.

This stuff is very stiff and for what I can find in writting about it's mechanical properties, should work.
If anything, I worry that it might be too stiff and as a result, break because it isn't flexable enough.
Thoughts?
