It looks like 25-23 is an impossible outcome.

If it's really three races like the poster says (to 8, to 8 and to 9), then one player would have to come out ahead all three days to get 25 games and the other player would have to lose by at least one game each day, so he couldn't get more than 22 games.

Most likely neither player will get 25 games.

I wonder how they'll decide the overall winner. Most games? Two out of three races? If it's races the overall winner could have fewer games than the loser!

Patrick brings up a valid point. I think the days should be broken down as on the 1st day a race to 8, the next the first person to 16, and then on the final day the first person to 25. The way it's worded kind of makes it faulty unless the same person wins on all 3 days and you shouldn't rely on that being the case.

How would Sylver Ochoa and Gabe Owen match in 1P ???

WThey played about 3 months ago in San Antonio, a race to 7 with Sylver getting odds on the money.

It was close and at 4-4, Gabe speared a ballin from the end rail andd after that, it was all Gabe and winning 7-4.

Yes, I'm sure as I held the money and was the ref.

In other words a single race to 25, just broken up into daily milestones. That makes the most sense to me too.

Maybe that's what they mean.

These are probably the three best in the USA now. I happen to like Gabe #1 and T-Rex #2. Jeremy Jones and Cliff are close behind these three.

Now for a little sacrilege. I think Gabe may be playing better than Efren currently. Efren has slipped just enough so that he can be beaten, and Gabe just keeps getting better. He shoots great, banks like Houdini, and moves like a fox. If he gets the balls open, he can and will run out. Most importantly, he makes few (if any) unforced errors and doesn't dog it either. I doubt you will find ANYONE looking to play him some One Hole.

Gabe...Efren...Tony.....Jerry....Jeremy..... Two bad their can't be a ring game of one pocket.

Gabe performed well over the entire GSBT tournament but when he played Nick Varner, you could easily add WARDEN to his resume as he kept Nick in jail virtually the entire match.

Sylver and JJ ended up betting 600 a game at the end Fatboy, had JJ loser till the end. Might have won more games...

Kinda sounds like the finals of the DCC 1 pocket, where Efren steamrolls Jason Miller 3-0.

Yep, '06 DCC he lost the first game to Pagulayan, then went 8 and out three consecutive games, went 8 and out the first two games vs Miller before missing a ball in the final game. Five consecutive games he ran out during the semis and finals.
