Phonelic Tip - barbecue or marinade and slow roast?

I have a phonelic tip which I suspect absorbed a little moisture when I dropped it in my beer.

I have heard that slow roasting it or 30 mins on the bbq would do the trick, has anyone tried this?

I would also love to absorb any marinade advice?

If it is phenolic then it is like the Formica kitchen counter top and is waterproof. It will be OK as is. But if it absorbs beer then I don't know what it is made of.

Would suggest immediately placing the phenolic tip in a dead roosters beak and stewing it in a vat of jose cuervo tequila. Should suck out all that poisonous karma.:)

Excellent suggestion, however my other dilemma is how to retrieve any of the said absorbed moisture? Or would I be able to drain this off in someway along with the tequila? :confused:

I think those need to be tested for playability, you can mail a dozen of them to me and I'll put them through all sorts of tests. for example how well they stand up to heat when tightly bundled in thin paper.

You have to do that before I shape them. You need a water pipe for these bad boys buddy. Or is it Bud'e.
