Dear friends:

I have been back home for two days now. However when I woke up this morning I still thought there would be 100 pool tables downstairs waiting for me.

It is very nice to meet you guys at Derby City Classic last week. I had a great time teaching the software in the afternoon (60 people at 10-20 minutes), watching the games with everybody at night and partying till dawn. I haven't had so much fun since school years.

I have uploaded 60+ interesting photos to http://pl.cuetable.com/showthread.php?t=190 . Please shoot me an email if you'd like to have the original in high resolution. Also, please feel free to upload photos of Derby City or anything pool related (ie: your local pool hall) in the Art Gallery.

Sign on to CueTable Public Library (CTPL) if you use CueTable often. It is a central place for you to share layouts and gain knowledge together with the online billiard community. It is capable of displaying video and layout. And there will be more interesting happenings in two months. It is free to use just like CueTable software.

On CTPL, I have opened a new section called "Layout Deposit" : http://pl.cuetable.com/forumdisplay.php?f=70 . Please remember to save your layouts from emails or any discussions to that location so more people can view them later.

Many thanks to those who have offered valuable suggestions to the CueTable project. Going forward, I will take them seriously when making the future development.

As one have described the best at DCC, "I felt I have known you all this time. It's great to put a face to a name." Let's stay in touch. Hopefully we shall meet again soon.

Wei, it was a pleasure meeting you and I must say... you're a genius my friend!

Not only are you smart but you're very generous to go to such great length's to share your knowledge and idea's with everyone. I really enjoyed the demonstation you had set up at the DCC. It's a great idea and I really hope it takes off for you!

Thank you for sharing the pics too.

:::EDIT::: I just got done going through all the photo's.... That was sneaky!! I never knew you took that. LOL, I must've been biting on my lower left lip or something cause my teeth look funky.

It's a shame you guys weren't there to check out Wei's demonstrations. Wei, are you going to do it again next yr??

Timberly, thank you for the kind words.

There is a saying, "One is lucky to be able to help others."

I were really lucky to walk into that position 9 years ago. I did it for myself first and soon everyone wanted it. And I want to thank you for letting me know it is still useful. It makes me smile.

I would want to express my gratitude to Greg of Diamond Billiards for supporting my operation at Derby City this year. He has gone out of his way to help me under his busy schedule. This kindness has brought me the courage to step up and spread the idea of sharing.

Greg is the person we should really thank for. :)

People can make a change. We just proved it.
