Does anyone have any experiences with the Picone Cue Tip Press. I just came across it on his website. I've never heard about it.

i have several of them in different sizes, they are awesome! you can press flat or domed and it prevents the tip from spreading, which is key
Key to what? According to the picture, you have to press the press in a vice. Seems kind of redundant to me. What difference does it make what shape the tip takes after pressing. It's reshaped by the cue repairman during installation, anyway.

Exactly! Using a vise or washers you're spreading them out.Upon inspection it looks like it forces the tip to flatten downward by not letting them spread out.
