picone cue tips, NEED HELP?

Hi az !

I need some inputs on picone cue tips, hopefully who has already used this and still using it.

Can this tip be used also as a break cue tip?

Im planning to try this one , as of now im using trance tip.

i assume you mean the white diamond tip?

it works perfectly fine for breaking or jumping. it's slightly softer than the trance (phenolic) tip, but still very very hard. holds chalk a lot better.
 
I do agree with mister Chen. The White diamond tips are the best tips in the world for breaking, if you'ld ask me.

I use WD tips as standard tips for my break cues, break/jump cues and jump cues. And I've mounted about 150 of them in the past three years on my shafts and my customer's.

When you use the tips in combination with a hard ferrule, you have the most perfect material for breaking. Many cheap break cues are being tranformed into monster breakers by just changing the ferrule and mounting a WD Tip.

Just contact Joe Picone and ask him to send you one as a sample...

i think i really have to try it for me to distinguish it from my present tip.

hopefully it could give me a good blast of breaking balls while trying to murder the tournament.hahaha
