Pics of my newly purchased Jack Madden cue.

ok.. here are some pics of my new jack madden cue that i recently bought.. it plays GREAT... and i think i will be very happy with it!!!!

Forearm and butt sleeve is Indian Tammarrin from Jupitor, FL. The tree went down in Hurricane Andrew in 1992. Thre rings above the wrap are Silver, Ebony, and Alaskan moose antler. (taken from the madden website..)

Jack---> THIS CUE IS TOP NOTCH! :)

So !!!

You are thene that got it!! heard about this cue from the SBE. and then saw it on IndyQ.
By that time I was told it was sale pending

That is magnificient wood in your cue. Is that a real dense/heavy wood? What type of wood would you compare that to as far as density?

wow what beautiful piece of wood...................im sure it plays as well as it looks
 
The buttcap seems to have a satin finish to it while the rest of the cue looks to have the usual shiny finish. Any info as to why the finish difference on the buttcap?

The Buttcap is Delrin.
 
i will hafta get Jack madden in here.. maybe he can answer questions better...

I saw that cue at VF. Pictures can't even beging to show the beauty of that wood.
 
yes.. as of right now i am very happy to have it.. and yes it is a very beautiful wood and the cue plays great.. i am not positive.. but the shafts feel to be slightly over 13mm.. i was looking for something with alittle more inlay but when i saw it.. what can i say.. i have a soft spot for interesting wood.. just have to get more confident and stable using it.. i played with my mottey for alittle over 2 years...(believe me its hard to just put it off to the side)

the wood looks gorgeous,i am not one for plain cues but this one looks good even with out points.;)
