Just watched the 2012 International Challenge of Champions.

SVB's cue looks clean and black. Possibly silver rings?

Anyone have any good pics or info on it?

Interesting. I had heard he used Cuetech, but didn't realize that was it.

Anyone know the model number?

I'm going to have Gary Johnson build me a custom breaker and have been looking for ideas as to what direction to go in. Shane's cue jumped out at me. I was hoping to get some ideas from it.

Thanks for the link!

I didn't notice the silver butt cap on his, but I might have missed it.

I'm thinking I may go with a solid ebony look, black Irish linen wrap, and thin silver rings. So, not exactly like his, but it does give me good ideas.

That is the one I am referring to also but I could have swore they said a Kamui brown soft. It was right after he made an insane draw shot to break open a group of balls.

If someone can find out for sure what tip it is please post it up. I really need to know because I'm quite sure this is the only thing standing between me and insane draw. ;)

All kidding aside, I'm always curious to know what tips the top guys use.

Shane used a Triangle tip for years. I know he put Kamui blacks on at one point and he said he didn't like it. I'm not sure what he's using now, but I'll ask the next time he's in town.

Other than that, it's off the shelf cue tec. $175-200 cue.

I remember hearing on some commentary he did last year that he was using a Kamui brown hard. Not sure what he uses now.

Given that he often breaks with his playing cue, I'd venture against him playing with a soft tip.

Yeah it is a kamui brown hard. I remember Daniel from POV commenting like it was crazy that he could get that much action from a kamui hard tip.
