Sticky....??

Why is this thread not turned into a "sticky"??? It seems to me that this should stay on the first page until this case is solved. How bout it mods?? Lets keep this on the front so justice can be served.

Stickys just get lost, most people don't read them.
This way if there is new information then it gets brought to the
forefront.

I am wondering if any of our forum members who are SUPER SPAMMERS might be able to send out one of those emails to a couple of million people. Short and to the point.

Maybe a note about the guy is wearing an ear ring in his right top part of his ear, has a soft voice, very smooth talking, approximately 5'9" and 160 lbs. and anything else that helps to identify this guy.

This is very true. The other day I noticed a sticky thread about contacting a cue maker. I thought maybe something was wrong and there was an emergency. I still haven't figured out why it was ever made a sticky, or why it is still is a sticky but what is even is worse is that it dates back to April 09 (IIRC) and I just noticed it the other day.

We now have the casino community on the lookout for the "person of interest," thanks to Jay Helfert's great idea: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...onal-pool-player-murdered-please-help-640468/
Thanks, Jay. That was a great idea! The bigger and denser of net that we throw out, the more likely that someone will recognize this guy.

There is a lot more going on than we know. My guess is that they have a pretty good idea of this guy's actual identity-- which will make it a little easier to find him.

Man linked to Mississippi slaying spotted in Villa Rica
by Bennett Rolan/Times-Georgian1 hr 23 mins ago | 36 views | 0 | 2 | |

Police believe a person of interest in a slaying that occurred Nov. 12 in Ocean Springs, Miss., may be in or around the Villa Rica area. The man was seen in a Villa Rica bar, The Watering Hole, on Nov. 7 where he reportedly failed to pay his tab.

Police said the man was later spotted on Nov. 15 in Jackson, Miss. Though his whereabouts are unknown, he reportedly has Villa Rica ties, according to Villa Rica Police Capt. Keith Shaddix.

“Everything the Mississippi police are finding out about him leads back to this area,” Shaddix said.

The man was identified as Jericho Cooper, which police now believe may be a false name.

“He’s making a claim he’s with a recording studio,” Shaddix said. “All of the information we’ve received from people who have sighted him has been false.”

Shaddix said police want to question Cooper about the days preceding the slaying since he was the last person seen with the victim while he was alive.

A Nov. 10, surveillance video showed Cooper and the victim, Michael Surber, 54, leaving Skeeter’s Billiards in Gulfport, Miss.

Two days later, Surber’s friends said they became suspicious when Surber failed to show up for a billiards game even though his car was in the parking lot, according to The Sun Herald, a south Mississippi newspaper.

After they realized the car had been there since Nov. 10, Surber’s friends went to his Ocean Springs residence. The home was boarded up in preparation for tropical storm Ida, according to The Mississippi Press, so Surber’s friends removed one of the boards to look inside.

Once they did, they saw Surber’s lifeless body on the floor.

It wasn’t until after police received an official autopsy report that they were able to rule Surber’s death a homicide.

Cooper was described as being a white man, late 40s to mid-50s. He is about 5-feet, 9-inches tall and 180 pounds with dirty blond hair and a receding hair line. He was last seen with his hair pulled back into a pony tail just below the collar, wearing a blue dress shirt and dark slacks. Cooper is known to frequent bars and pool halls, police said.

Shaddix said anyone with information about Cooper’s whereabouts should contact the Villa Rica Police Department.

Great news!

That he didn't pay his tab seems a double edged sword. Assuming he's broke, it'll be difficult for him to go far. But it may also make him more desperate and more dangerous. Careful is the operative word.

Hopefully more will come out from his visit to the Watering Hole and soon he will be in the hands of officials so he can be questioned.

VILLA RICA, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) - A person of interest in a murder in Mississippi might have been spotted in metro Atlanta. The owner of a bar in Villa Rica says Jericho Cooper went into The Watering Hole bar and skipped out on his tab.

The bar's owner said police from Ocean Springs, Mississippi were at the bar Tuesday.

Police said surveillance video showed that Cooper was the last person seen with Surber before he was found dead in his Ocean Springs home last week.

The bar owner in Villa Rica said Cooper was nowhere to be found after he skipped out on the tab.

I thought they covered it well, it was great tv coverage.

I keep hoping the next newspaper reference post from Gunn_Slinger is entitled: "Police K-9 Gets Fed".

Forget the cops, I wish someone would pop this guy off. Save the court time and air for people.
