Great photo's Rich, thanks!

My fav is "A not so confident Fred." :D

Great pics! I'm sure these guys will love them. That may be the best pic of Mike Davis I've seen. I know he'd love a high res copy for PR.

These are some great pictures of the pro's.. How about some of the azb people that came? Would like to see who Timberly, Eydie, Koop and more look like lol!

I'm sorry to say that I didn't get around to the meet and greets, so I don't have any pictures of the other AZB people, other than the few I posted.
I actually considered taking a picture of Timberly and Eydie, sitting at the computer in the pro arena, but it was just too dark. Taking pictures, with no flash, in the pro arena is a little bit tricky.

Maybe next time.

Wow, these are some GREAT pics, Rich! I don't know how you did it with the lighting so low in the Pro 8-Ball venue site. What I like the best is seeing the expressions on the players' faces when in the pit. Thanks for sharing! :)

These are some of the best pics I've seen anyone post. Clear, focused in on the subject, in action. Just super! Thanks, Rich.

Nice pics. very high quality, and good framing of the shooters.

Quick technical question... what kind of camera did you use for these pics? DSLR? Point and shoot? Did you use a monopod in the pro room? Obviously no flash, but what ISO did you set, 400 or faster?

I would like to head down next year and shoot some photos, but just wanted to see what settings to use.

Loved the shot of Bryant with his head down... just shows a lot of the emotion of billiards.... very powerful.

Thanks for making the effort and posting for us to share.

Love the pics, Rich. It's not easy getting good shots in a dark tourney room, I think you have it down pat.

Next time, I'll work on my "gotta get out the door" hairdo :o

I use good quality DSLR, with a very good quality zoom lens. I don't believe that the normal point and shoot will cut it, in dark tournament room conditions.

Did you use a monopod in the pro room?
I did not use a monopod, but I had one available, if I needed it. I get seats in the VIP section, where all seats are at tables. By bracing my elbows on the table, I can get pretty steady for the slow exposures.

Obviously no flash, but what ISO did you set, 400 or faster?
Most of these were at ISO 1600. It was just too dark to use anything less.

I would like to head down next year and shoot some photos, but just wanted to see what settings to use.

If all goes well, I will be there too. Look me up.

None of these pictures are loading for me...is everyone seeing these but me?
