just a comment. i have nothing to do...

so if they say pig skin is the closest animal skin to the human skin,,,would a pigskin wrap be....
 
The Tiger full grain pigskin wrap is one of my favorites. I have on a few of my playing cues and like the feel of it. It is also low maintenance and looks good.

the ones i have tried or had were too textured for me.i like the feel of Lambskin,smooth and soft.i have heard Kangaroo is similar.

i struggled with this thought. even though it's a pointless post, thus eminently qualifying it for "main forum" fodder, i figured people deal with cues here, and there's enough junk in main that i don't have to add to it.
 
It would depend a lot of how the skin was treated. Some pig skin is just great to work with and I do prefer it over the cow leather that's offered today but some of it feels stiff like a board. Tandy leather has both skin styles.
