I have a buddy with this cue and he wants to get a wood shaft for it. Anyone know the pin size? It looks like a 3/8-12 to me, but I'm not really good at this sort of thing.
Thanks in advance.

#1 - With the odd Cuetec pin size, I find it's easiest to just change the pin to 3/8-10 or Radial. Your existing shafts can be easily made to fit the new pin as well as its then quite easy to order any aftermarket high performance shaft with the more common pin installed.
#2 - The od (outside diameter) of the joint on most Cuetec/cuetec type cues is way small. Some are under .800 and I've even measured several of Allison's that were like .770-.780. Most cues are in the .830 to .860 range with Meucci being one of the very thinnest at .820. This makes for a less than happy camper when you screw on your new shaft and it has a huge lip were its too fat for the butt joint. Often you'll be better with an unfinished blank and have it custom fitted by the cuemaker of your choice.![]()
