Pink lady player

I previously made a pink cue using pink ivory. Clear pink ivory is very expensive. I had a another lady that wanted a pink cue so I tried some pink dymond wood #37. It cost about 1/4 the price and actually is a nicer pink.

This cue has a dymond wood segmented handle. The butt and forearm are holly with ebony points.

Thanks for looking....

Pink!

Kim, very nice looking cue! I think it suits a female player more than male, but very elegant looking.
How does it hit with the segmented handle?
Thank you for sharing your work.

The butt is cored with a 1 piece maple dowel. So it hits like a one piece handle/butt. Segmented handles don't affect the hit.

Hey Kim,

That is much pinker than pink ivory for sure. The lady will love it.

Btw, nice points bud.

Thanks Rick.

The owner is all giggly about it...

Her husband calls it her "knocking her up present". She just found out that she is pregnant.

LOL

Hey Kim,

Do you supply a Boa with the pink cues!

Maybe Dennis Rodman would play with it if you did.

Do you think it's a little gaudy??? LOL

Let me tell you that when it comes out of the case at the pool hall........ heads turn......

Just what I was looking for. It really catches your eye. Probably not a "manly" cue... LOL

I don't want to even think about what Dennis Rodman would do with this cue.

Kim,

Gaudy, no way. The women love pink cues. Before I built cues, I used to sell Nick Varners at the pool hall. The women went nuts for those pink ones.

BTW, what is the butt sleeve material?

All the white is holly. The points are ebony. The caps are Juma. The handle is Dymond wood. Fully cored with maple dowel..... you know the rest.

If I made another one, I think I would do high and low ebony points to make a "crown" effect.
