I put a pink stamped ostrich print wrap on a cue a few years ago, the pink is now worn away on most of the bumps and a fair amount of the field area as well. It has gotten quite dull as well.
Does any one have a suggestion as to where I can get a high quality pink dye to bring it back to life?
Thank you

That may just work.Thank you very much. And it may be my only option too.
I worry a bit about paint leaving a non flush edge. If I can find it I would sure like to find a dye. Dear god pink is pretty popular who'd think with a million colors available pink would be left out??? someone had to dye the damn thing in the first place,,Right? If it were blue or green or red or.. that would be the hard one to find.........................China's hording all the pink.

Any particular reason you don't just replace the wrap?
Yes, the cue needs a refinish. I did the wrap for a Beam and coke. I don't want to do another. I found this on eBay and it worked quite well actually.
It was not as bright as the original color, but was a very nice pink. It was more of a paint than a dye in my opinion but came out very nice after three coats as thin as I could get them and still get good coverage. It's very thick even for paint. the end result was quite nice. it looked like a factory finish. I took super care to keep the edge of the wrap and the dye / paint from forming a ridge.

Understood on not wanting to do it again. Glad you could get it fixed. You should post up pics of the results.
