It can happen, he missed his rail target by 1/4".

I've had more luck with titties saving me than anyone I know. It happened so frequently I started playing those shots at times. If you get a good carom angle, it's pretty simple to hit them, not that it's a high percentage unless it is lined up right.

i like how dummies say what are the odds. the odds are 100% because if you play enough sooner or later you will get one of these type of things to happen.

it is only incredible if before hand and someone said what are the odds of this particular event happening.
 
Playing 10 ball my opponent has a straight in shot on the 2ball which is 6" from the pocket. He misses 2 goes 2 rails and off 4 balls leaving me hooked.

He gets ball in hand makes the 3 then the 4 ball is 6" from the pocket and again he misses goes 2 rails and off multiple balls and I am hooked.

He is squirming and emphatically states "Not trying to hook you , I am going for the run out".

He has ball in hand shoots till the 9 which he hangs. I finish the game and again he states , "wasn't trying to hook you".

I replied you aren't good enough to go off 2 rails and 3 balls playing a safety. He thought about it for a second then realizing I was being funny he laughed.
