Hey everyone!

I just got into Pittsburg for the weekend and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a room to play in. I only have my phone on me, which gave a lot of results after searching, but I was hoping to save time by getting a suggestion for somewhere that has great equipment hopefully. Some small time action wouldn't be bad either ;) thanks a bunch!!

Pittsburgh

Breakers has the best maintained tables, tough newer 9' Diamonds and a few 9' GCs in the back. The most 'action' in town.

Golden Cue in Bridgeville is 2nd, just Gold Crown's - IIIs, I believe.

If you had to push me for a third location, that would probably be Cue & Cushion on Rt. 51 in the South Hills. However, this place is extremely smokey.

For an old style poolhall, try Pinky's in Turtle Creak. GC's decently maintained, hardwood charm. Mostly old timers shooting and playing cards.

There's also Chalkys, but I don't recommend it. Connely tables, not maintained well at all. Dead rails, many tears in the cloth. However, the owner's dog is friendly enough. She will sometimes greet you at the door.

Fox and Hounds have 2 nine foot old-style Diamonds (with the huge pocket shelf) that love to hang balls (especially the money ball) and a bunch of 8 ft's. The 'scenery' is nice, but the food/drinks are way overpriced. Mostly a 20 something hangout with some TVs with sports always on.
